    ferret plot

    hi............

ur data is correct. what it is showing is the temperature at a particular lat-long at different depths (which is given as equivalent decibar unit) for a single day. if u want to see the spatial distribution then try to download the data not for a point but for a region (e.g. 5 deg N to 25 deg N and 70 deg E to 90 deg E).
for plotting the data use commands like this...
    >use filename.nc
    >show data (it will show data layers like lat, long, time, temperature etc)
    >plot/x=70/y=15 temperature (for plotting data value taken at a point)
    >fill/x=70:90/y=5:25/z=95/T=23-jan-2009 temperature (for plotting a spatial data for a particular date and a particular depth)
    >go land

i hope it will help u a bit.......
and i will recommend to consult the ferret help file.
    good luck......

    bye,
    ppm

    thanks.
I am consulting the ferret help file also. I am succeed in mimicking the command you had given me.thank you 'ppm' for that.
Main problem is that these Argo nc doesn't seem any match like ncep nc files and other nc files. It shows so ,many titles. and never had a title of time.but gives cycle. I want daily average of the region 5N-5S and 70E-100E of Indian Ocean. any body who knows all these please help me.providing the suitable site where I can download this areas data
