An international conference, "Celebrating the Monsoon", is proposed to
mark 25 years of the Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences,
Indian Institute of Science. The aim of the conference is to assess
where we stand in monsoon physics and prediction, with emphasis on
open questions and new challenges.

The five-day conference is organised in theme-based sessions:
Observing the Monsoon; Global Monsoon Systems; Monsoon Variability;
Ocean and Monsoon; Clouds, Aerosol and Monsoon; Modeling the Monsoon;
