If anybody will browse the above title in Google or yahoo then there are few websites will shows about the conspiracy of Appolo mission and landing mission at moon. However a survery says that around 20% American believe still now and around 3-4% of world population believe that appolo mission was a hoax and in reality we never landed at moon.
However still man has explored about 350 km from the surface of earth and we also convinced about International space station etc. Rover and satellites were explored mars as well as saturn however travelling man is impossible beyond 500km.
Regarding this there are few TV documentry (like BBC, CNN, FOX, NHK etc.)shows enough evidences to defend such type of hoax. However still it is a conspiracy theory and people are doing more research on this.
If you missed one of the documentry shown in FOX TV then here is the video....Download it

Dear skdash,
well i had also come across this piece of information. But well the reality ......... still confusing.
Anyway, i have another piece of news..........................
"The Taj Mahal is actually a temple of Lord Shiva" and "Indian culture and philosophy is the origin of all other followings".
Well these are available with full documentary and researched evidence and will be really mind blowing.
But before posting any such information or links to the same, I would wish to ask the moderators if i can do so ???
I will post the links in this forum only when i get a reply from the moderator permitting me to do so.
Dear moderator, i am awaiting your reply.
regards,

Mr. Deba,
This is the forum which encourage topic should be based on scientific facts. Though my thread in not related to oceanography but i think people should participate in the poll rather posting a message. Because this topic is in debate and i think this platform is not suitable to discuss.
Your topic is total out of context because it is a controversy. so we will discuss separately but not this forum.
So requesting you just to take part in the poll, after few days i will delete my thread and poll will be online.

General Talk forum is for general talk. It is ok to talk on anything unless a user use this forum solely for:
"advertising of any kind (advertising of products, services, propaganda, etc)
spam and junk emails (usually of a commercial nature)
messages which are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."
We all are oceanographers but we may have other topics to talk about. This is why 'General Talk' forum was made for. This will also help members to know more about each other and interact in an informal way. I feel it is necessary. We're human beings after all. What are your opinions? We have other oceanography forums in this website to talk about science.
Just remember to participate in the science discussions too.. and don't get carried away talking all kind of things.. thatz all :). Controversial and religious discussions can be dangerous and hurt feelings of several people. So please take care of that. If any discussion seems to go in the wrong way, don't worry, the moderators here will close it. Or you can always report a bad post (you see an icon (!) to the top-right of every post?) and it will be taken care of.

Dear Mr. skdash,
I hope you take my post correctly.
There was no intention of hurting you and i wish to convey my regrets if it has conveyed you the same.
I just wanted you to know that there are several issues of general interest which could be shared with all and this forum is aptly named "General Talk" probably for the same reason. no comments on anything else.............
The second part of my post has nothing to do with contreversies or what we should or should not post on this forum. I just wanted to get a clarification from the moderator that i do have something like this and will it be appropriate to post the link here (I intended to be cautious) ??
The facts i was talking about could have been a matter of great curiosity to some. just for information, what has been presented in favour of the arguments are based on pure scientific facts and documented research work as is the case with the moon landing.
Anyway, my querry was meant for the moderator only. Probably including both of them in the same thread have caused some confusion. I shall take care in the future to avoid any such confusion.
I understand the moderator will take care of issues that relate to the smooth functioning of the forum.
As i understand from the moderator's stand, i must refrain from posting the link.
Thank you Mr. skdash. my apologies once again to all.
cheers and regards,
deba
