A Marie-Curie Excellence Centre (KITE), funded by the European Union, is seeking one research fellow and one senior research fellow to model and investigate relationships between ecosystem dynamics, climate change, and human impacts along the Eastern Arc Mountains of Kenya and Tanzania. You should hold an MSc in Environmental Science for research fellow, PhD for senior research fellow. Research skills in botany, GIS, environmental modelling, computer programming and/or Quaternary science would be an advantage.
Starting salary will be: £30,002 per annum for the senior research fellow and £20,044 per annum for the research fellow. The three year posts are available from 1st July 2006 with the research fellow expected to register for a PhD.
