Graduate Research in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences,

The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Johns Hopkins University
invites applications for its PhD degree program in atmospheric and oceanic
sciences. The program focuses on fundamental processes in the atmospheres and
oceans of Earth and other planets. Funding is available for research in a
wide range of areas, including atmospheric and oceanic dynamics, radiation,
climate variability, tracer transport, and planetary sciences.
We are seeking students with strong backgrounds in physics, applied
mathematics, chemistry, or an applied science such as mechanical engineering,
atmospheric and ocean sciences.
