The Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (DEAS) of the
University at Albany, State University of New York, seeks applicants for
a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full
Professor level, effective September 2006. Qualified candidates should
have expertise in synoptic or mesoscale meteorology or numerical weather
prediction, and have a strong dynamical background. This position was
previously advertised at the assistant professor level only. The
deadline for applications for THIS position has been extended to
