how to create stick plots?

i need to plot stick diagrams.i have some data of current speed and direction. i couldnot find any tool for creating stick plots in Surfer, grapher...if anybody have idea about it please tell.....

Did you try plotting with MATLAB?

another way is probe using the feather.m function of matlab....
