“Atmosphere Ocean Interaction and Monsoon Variability”
January 11 to 13, 2006
Many questions remain unanswered in the areas of atmosphere ocean interaction and vagaries of monsoon. A better understanding of the processes in the atmosphere ocean interface, their role in the monsoon system and causative mechanisms for different epochs of monsoon are helpful to answer many of these questions. Research results from the field experiment, ARMEX and new insights into the monsoon systems are to be discussed thoroughly. The conference aims to stimulate further interaction and initiate in-depth discussions amongst the scientists involved in research work in these areas..
