Ocean Acoustics

hai to all

i am stepping to an area of oceanography, ocean acoustics, where i have a very little experience. i will be glad if any of you can provide links and notes about the acoustics of ocean water and also bottom.
So please do it as soon as possible

I don't have much idea about ocean acoustics but I know that
S. Prasanna Kumar (http://www.nio.org/jsp/ResearchersDisplay.jsp?resID=102)from NIO, Goa had done extensive research
on the acoustics of Indian Ocean, especially acoustic tomography
experiments in the north Indian Ocean.

Dear Anand,
here is for ur information that there are two books on Ocean Acoustics by Herman Medwin, Clay and by Jerald Caruthers. These two books are very useful. you can get it from CUSAT library and also from NPOL library. in NPOL there are more books regarding this field
