LIDAR development will include a contribution to the upgrade of
elastic backscatter LIDAR to a Raman LIDAR and development of mobile
elastic backscatter LIDAR.
Modeling part will include the application of available meteorological
and photo-chemical models for studies of air pollutants' transport in
different time and space scales.
Applicants with a PhD in physics, meteorology, or electrical engineering
and with previous experience with LIDAR and/or transport models will be
