request help in my vb project abt contouring

hi i am schazad i m doin my BE electronics..from nust pakistan...i have my final year project in weather data analysis,i.e synoptic data analysis.I have developed a software that takes weather data from global weather websites,filters that data saves it in a file and then on ur request plots it on a map i m in the last phase of my project which is drawing the contours on the same map.I am stuck with that coz i cant figure out the logic abt how to draw contours according to the data that was downloaded from the web sites.I have tat data saved in the folder in notepad but i cant sort out how to draw contours using that data.i m doing this project in visual basic 6. I m in need of a basic vb code that should give me an idea abt that.
