Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under
your username whenever you post. You can access
them through the User Control Panel (User CP).

Sorry for not updating the site updation history.

Major changes after last post:

1. Oceanographers RuNet added (http://www.oceanographers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=326)
Oceanographers MultiLingual for Oceanographers who find it difficult
to converse in English.

2. Oceanographers WiKi (http://www.oceanographers.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=24)added as experimental

3. Donation through Paypal services (http://www.oceanographers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=708)
For bettering facilities & services on Oceanographers Net.

Forgot to mention this (It was done about 10 months before;) ) :
4. Members List compulsory fields. In the start, none of the user fields in
the profile where compulsory, to encourage user registration.
This lead to several members failing to enter any details, which
isn't helpful for interaction between Oceanographers.
Hence the user profile fields 'Name, Institute, Occupation & Research
Interests' were made compulsory.
The necessity was pointed out in the beginning by some other members
as well.
