Scientific Programmer @ ETH, Zurich.

The successful candidate will develop and adapt modules for process
models and global climate models. He/she will optimize codes for vector
and parallel computer architecturs, and develop and optimize pre- and
postprocessing routines as well as visualization tools. The ETH has
access to a comprehensive range of high-performance computing facilities.

An academic degree in mathematical, computer, geophysical or related
sciences is required. Excellent programming skills in FORTRAN77,
FORTRAN90, C/C++, MPI/OPENMP, Unix (shell scripting/Perl/AWK),
Matlab/IDL and English language skills are required.

The position is envisioned to be a 50% (negotiable). The position is
initially limited to 2 years with the option of extension.
