suggestion on thesis topic

I am student of physical oceanography. I am going to start the third course and I should select a subject for my thesis to work, but I am really confused by surfing in net to find a good subject. By the way I want to keep my education for PHD in by scholarship. Now I do not know which topics are more important in the world of physical oceanography to work.Could you help me please

Hello Mahsa, I guess it is the duty of the student to find his own area of interest to work on a thesis. It usually doesn't matter that much on what topic you took for thesis. What matters more is what you do about it and if you have something new or interesting to say about that topic. For a list of topics, you can browse through the "members list" in the community tab on the top menu, and go through the research interests of different researchers.
