This is the first ever site to be built for interaction between people interested in ocean and related sciences. Do you think our efforts to bring the ocean community together is worth it?

I rate this website "Exceptional" due to several reasons.

1. Open to everyone. Science should always be. Oceanography is not much
familiar outside the circle of a few oceanographers. This will open the doors
to many.
2. Interactive. Not limited to a single webmaster's knowledge. Great, popular
and free projects like Linux, Wikipedia were built upon the knowledge of
several people.
3. Helpful to students, professionals and scientists.
4. Advancement of science.

are a few..

Some of the proposed Objectives are:

1. To bring the ocean community together and to promote better
interaction between fellow oceanographers and people interested
in the ocean sciences.

2. Help students and researchers in oceanography by providing
useful lectures, guidelines, solutions to questions and doubts.

3. Provide opportunities for people working in Oceanography related
areas.

4. To discuss on research topics pertaining to Oceanography.

5. To share publications, notes, links and other useful information.

6. To help in working out computer related applications in Oceanography.

7. Update with recent happenings in the oceanographic world.

8. Through a network of people interested in the ocean sciences, we also
hope to promote development of science, social interaction and happiness.

in these objectives we proudly add the one important objective suggested by you.

9. Open to everyone. Science should always be. Oceanography is not much
familiar outside the circle of a few oceanographers. This will open the doors
to many. We are really willing to open up the doors to all.....
