Research Scholars, with 1st Class B.E./B.Tech. or M.Sc. degree, who have been awarded Ph.D. degree in the year 2004 or who are likely to be awarded Degree during the calendar year 2005 may apply for registration after ensuring relevance of their research to DRDO, (for which they are advised to visit DRDO Website www.drdo.org) alongwith copy of the synopsis and details of research work. In case of their prima facie suitability, based on their research work and the specific requirements of the various labs of the DRDO, the registered scholars may be called for interview for the post of Scientist ‘C’, Pay Scale Rs. 10,000-325-15,200 (subject to their meeting the eligibility criteria) after receipt of documentary proof from them of having been awarded PhD degree in the calendar year 2004 or 2005. Registration of candidates applying in response to this advertisement would remain valid for the year 2005 only. Registered candidates should keep updating the PhD status regarding the submission of thesis and award of degree with RAC.
The registration is open till 30th Sep 2005.
The application, along with a postal order of Rs. 50/- payable to Director, RAC may be sent to the Director, Recruitment & Assessment Centre (RAC), DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Lucknow Road, Timarpur, Delhi-110054. The applicants should not be more than 35 years of age as on 31st Dec 2005. The application format may be downloaded from DRDO website or may be obtained on request by sending a self addressed envelop to Director, RAC. The registration is open till 30th Sep 2005.
Candidates who have appeared for interview at RAC under ROYDID and ROSSA Schemes during year 2003 and 2004 respectively, need not apply.
