Special Call For Abstracts Related To Indian Ocean Tsunami:
Due to the relevance of December 26 2004 Indian Ocean Tsunami,
WAVES2005 is launching a SPECIFIC CALL FOR ABSTRACTS on this event,
with the aim of setting up a SPECIAL SESSION on this issue.
Abstracts would be dealing with:
- Physics of the Tsunami.
- Wave run-up and available data.
- Effects on structures.
- Warning systems design.
- Construction standards for tsunami protection.
- Post-disaster assessment planning and operations.
