wind speed data

Hi,

can anybody please tell me what is the wind data with higher temporal and spatial resolution???

I would like it to fill some gaps of some meteorological stations on the Brazilian continental shelf... I'm thinking on using data from cloud drift (from blended sea winds)... any better suggestions???
