The Maritime group in the Dubai office currently has a position available for a Principal Coastal Engineer to help lead their Coastal skill group.
This position will involve business development, client interaction, commercial management and direction, leadership of feasibility studies, through to detailed design and construction. Many of the projects that you would play a lead role in would involve working in multidisciplinary teams such as for waterfront developments.
Applicants are required to degree qualified and a professional Engineer of a recognised institution. You must posses an understanding of coastal process and analysis, mathematical modelling techniques, and coastal engineering design and be experienced report writing. The Financial management of contracts and the preparation of proposals is also required. You will also need to be able to manage a team of engineers and scientists from a range of backgrounds, working at times in a high pressure environment.
The successful candidate will be a positive individual with a pro-active approach who has the ability to take on responsibility, work as part of a team and on their own initiative
