netCDF file combaining--help needed.

Hi All,

I have about 5 years of reannalysis (daily) of MoM4 data in netCDF format. I wish to make it in to a single netCDF file so that i can use that for further analysis. I heard that NCO is a good tool for doing that. Is any NCO expert available in oceanographers.net. I read some documentation and user guide, but it makes things complicated. So i really need a good guide for doing this?.

why to merge files. you can read them separately in matlab or GrADS through simple programs. be more specific about your problem. what software you are currently using?

I would also like to know about your department at Univ of Melbourne.

I just want to find some time correlation in my data set. Anyway i'm now pretty much famililer with the NCO tools and solved the above problem. Thanks for your reply. In MelUni there is no seperate department for Meteorology and oceanography, infact there is no oceanographers in the department. I work in the Bureau of Meteorology.
