Postdoctoral Fellowship for Cloud-Resolving Modeling and Tropical Cyclone Research

The International Pacific Research Center (IPRC) of the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST) of the University of Hawaii invites applications for a post-doctoral fellowship. We are seeking candidates with interests in cloud and boundary layer processes, and/or tropical cyclone dynamics, and who have relevant numerical modeling experience. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in meteorology, or related fields by the starting date. Application deadline: June 15, 2007, or until the position is filled. Starting date: August 15, 2007, or as mutually agreeable. Appointment is for one year and is renewable for a second year, depending on performance and availability of funds.
