Reading FTP files into MatLab .DAT files

I hope the spring's blooming well with you.

Please, does anyone have a MatLab program that i could use to extract satellite data in FTP format into .DAT files?

First time hearing about data in FTP format. Do you mean data which you downloaded through FTP? If so check the details of the format may be in some readme file. I don't understand what you mean by .dat files either..
