Oceanographers Net is successfully completing its 2 years cruise on the web, gathering remarkable attention from Universities and Research Institutes under oceanographic disciplines around the world. At this juncture, we would like to take it a few steps forward, contributing more scientific value to the community.
Preparation of an annual report (Annual Report 2006) is being planned. This report will include the current status of the website, member statistics, usage, recommendations, future plans and invited articles from distinguished scientists.
In addition to this, we are inviting Oceanographers Net members to contribute scientific articles, in oceanography and related sciences, for this issue of the report.
The scientific article should be:
Your work, recently presented in a scientific seminar/conference.
Preferably 100-150 words with one related figure.Scientific articles highlighting or written as a sequence to published papers are also acceptable. If necessary, the articles may be reviewed by scientists working on the related area. Not all articles may be published in the initial issue. With respect to the number of articles received, we may increase the number of issues per year.
