can anyone let me know from where can i obtain E-P data for the north Indian Ocean (-30 to 30N, and 30 to 120E)

Hello, deba, what kind of data?
From reanalysis like ECMWF ERA-40 and NCEP II you could download evaporation and precipitation values and estimate E-P.
Check the data section, esp. http://www.oceanographers.net/forums/showthread.php?t=88 for links to those reanalysis datasets. You would be able to download as grib/netcdf.
